A night spent camping in a what I thought was empty field was followed by a breakfast of crunchy nut cornflakes, as I sat in my sleeping bag with the tent flap open.
Having the brutish head of a large shaved sheep suddenly appearing in front of me almost made me choke on my cornflakes!
And so with tent packed away, I left the sheep to their field and made my way to the RSPB Osprey watchpoint.
Sad to find on leaving, a dead Goldfinch beside the road.
Beautiful none the less, I carried on cycling north until I reached the magnificent and expansive Campfield RSPB Reserve.
