OPTICRON

Over the years I have been the Biking Birder, Opticron have supported me by giving me binoculars and telescopes. At the end of each Biking Birder adventure, I have given these optics away either to individuals or nature reserves. Thanks to Opticron there is an indigenous man, Juan, in The Manu National Park in Peru with a pair of binoculars. Thanks to Opticron a vitally important nature reserve just south of Lima, Peru has a pair of binoculars and a telescope. Thanks to Opticron an amazing young man, Dominik Reynolds in England, has a pair of binoculars for the work he does with his Wildlife Fund! Thanks OPTICRON

bikingbirder: Romsley, Worcestershire, United Kingdom; My name is Gary Prescott, THE Biking Birder, a 69 year old retired school teacher with a passion for nature. Over the last 16 years I have been on seven Biking Birder adventures. To say thank you to the thousands of children I had the privilege of teaching over the decades, I am raising money for an amazing ACORNS Children's Hospice in my beloved Birmingham, ACORNS CHILDREN'S HOSPICE. To help nature, especially BIRDS, in Rwanda, I am fundraising for the fabulous environmental charity, PLANET BIRDSONG. This November I will be spending the month cycling in Rwanda!
